A Bit About Me
Hi, my name is Louise and I am the owner of Paws For Walks Harrogate, offering dog walking and pet care services in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Why Choose Paws for Walks Harrogate?
Established in April 2022, Paws for Walks Harrogate was built on a genuine passion for dogs and a commitment to providing high-quality, reliable dog walking services.
Before starting my business, I spent two years volunteering at a local dog rescue, gaining invaluable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities and temperaments. This experience helped me develop a strong understanding of canine behaviour and the importance of tailoring care to each individual dog.
I also share my home with my two rescue dogs, Benjy and Ralph, who continue to teach me something new every day and remind me why I love working with dogs so much.
I believe that dog walking should be more than simply exercising a dog. Every walk should be an enjoyable, enriching experience that provides physical exercise, mental stimulation and plenty of opportunities to explore. That’s why I offer a variety of walks in beautiful locations around Harrogate and the surrounding countryside. From woodland trails and forests to riverside paths, open fields and quiet green spaces, every walk offers new sights, smells and experiences to keep dogs happy, engaged and fulfilled.
Dogs are carefully matched into suitable groups based on their temperament, age and energy levels, helping to create a safe, enjoyable and positive experience for everyone. Whether your dog enjoys an energetic adventure or prefers a gentler pace, I always aim to provide walks that suit their individual needs.
Safety and welfare are at the heart of everything I do. I am canine first aid trained and my vehicle is fully equipped with emergency equipment, spare leads, long lines, towels and other essential items to ensure I am prepared for unexpected situations while out on walks. I also carry a portable shower with warm water, which is particularly useful after muddy adventures or wet weather walks.
I take great pride in building strong relationships with both dogs and their owners and understand the trust that comes with caring for a much-loved family member. My aim is simple: to provide a professional, dependable service and to ensure every dog returns home happy, safe, exercised and looking forward to their next adventure.

Dog Walking
1 Hour Group Walk
£15 per dog / £28 for 2 dogs from same household
This is a 1 hour walk in a group of no more than 6 dogs
Solo Dog Walk - 1 Hour

If your dog prefers walks by himself, then this is the service for you. It's a one hour solo walk
Weekend Group Walks - 1 Hour
£22 per dog / £34 for 2 dogs from same household
Bank Holiday Group Walks - 1 Hour
£22 per dog / £34 for 2 dogs from same household

I will visit your pet and feed, change water, let him out for a toilet break, clean litter tray
